Netminders is an outreach ministry of Trinity Assembly in Algood, TN that sponsors 9 bass tournaments a year in Middle Tennessee. We believe that every person has a right to hear the good news of eternal life through Jesus Christ. This is an open tournament series. You do not need to be a Christian or affiliated with any church. Come as you are. Our tournaments begin with a message about Jesus and prayer, followed by the launch. We end also with a prayer. All of our leaders are laymen. We have a family environment and some men fish with their wives, sons, or daughters. Women are encouraged to participate, although we have had only a few. Our tournaments are held in Middle Tennessee lakes such as Dale Hollow, Center Hill, Cordell Hull, and Chickamauga. Season membership is only $25 per person, and entry fee for each event is $30 per person. We fish in two-member teams. We pay out 100% of the entry fees plus more because of the generousity of our sponsors, and most of the membership fee goes to the $2,000 and $1,000 First and Second place Angler of the Year Points Champions and the Fish-Off winners get $2,000. We like to pay lots of places, in fact, a place for approximately every seven boats entered, so a lot of guys have gone home with money in their pockets. This year we again guarantee $1,000 first place at every tournament, and $4,000 1st place at our May 12 Dale Hollow Family Day Classic. In 2017 we had 250 anglers participate in our tournaments. We average about 60 boats per event. Anglers range from pros to novices. This is a great way to get started fishing tournaments. We have a podcast series the comes out about every two weeks you can find on iTunes. Follow the link on our website here to help you get started listening to podcasts. We interview Tennessee anglers who have done well in tournaments or who have a great story to tell. If anyone reading this message is in need of prayer, please email one of us through the Contact Us link, or call us at one of the numbers given there.
